Ygn ~ Mawlamyine – Hpanan – Kyaikhtiyo – Bago

7 Nights 8 Days

 

Day 1

Welcome to the Garden City Yangon.

Arrive by afternoon flight to Yangon International Airport.  Our English station guide will give you welcome gifts including  Map of Myanmar. Then, transfer to hotel. And

visit Botataung Pagoda, a famous landmark on Yangon’s waterfrontwhere one can see Buddha’s hair relic and Nanthida Jetty to see people coming and going for work from either side of Yangon River. And then continue to Sule Pagoda, Maha Bandoola Park with Independence Monument, located at the heart of the city, Chaukhtatgyi reclining Buddha image and Bogyoke market- a shopping market with more than 2000 shops selling all kinds of products but of special mention is the beautiful exotic “Shan Bag” velvet slippers, lacquer ware, Gems shops and all sorts of handicraft. Evening visit to the 2,500 years old magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda sheathed in 11 tons of pure gold and 4,350 diamonds weighing 1800 carats!  At sunset, the Shwedagon offers visitor a spectacular show of lights and shadows. Day 2

Yangon ~ Mawlamyine

After breakfast in Hotel drive to  Mawlamyine, It takes about Sightseeing  (315 km) 4:30 hours arrive at Mawlamyine check in Hotel and visit to  Mahamuni Pagoda and SeindonMinbayaKyaung: a monastery where King Mindon Min’s Queen sought refuge., Enjoy the sunset from the view points of Mawlamyaing. Overnight at Hotel in Mawlamyine.

 

Day 3

Mawlamyine – Mudon – Kyaikkami – KyeikKhmaiSetse Beach (By Car)

After breakfast drive to MUDON (30 km) and visit the newly built world’s biggest reclining Buddha statue (160 m). Afterwards continue to the coastal resort Kyaikkami, also known as Amherst during colonial days. Visit YELE PAYA, famous for the Buddha Statue that was brought from Sri Lanka in ancient time. Then continue to Setse Beach at the Gulf of Martaban, which is still very well known. Enjoy a stroll over the brown sand beach before you will return back to Mawlawyine. Stay overnight at Hotel in Mawlamyine.

 

Day 4

Mawlamyine – HpaAn : (By Car)

After breakfast, drive to Hpa An (63 km), the capital of Kayin state. Visit downtown area and   (Sightseeing Include: ShweyinMyawPagoda : near the Clock Tower and middle part of Hpaan, on the rinver bank of  Thanlwin River, Hpa An Market .Visit to. Kawgun Cave Temple The best and the most precisely detailed limestone cave temple out of all the caves found in Hpa-an, Kawgun Cave is situated at the far end of Kawgun village. History states that it was built under the authority of a Mon queen in the 7th century. However most of the details that are on display today have been added by many artisans and artists who came after her period of authority. Despite its remote surroundings, the wall paintings of Buddhist images, carvings and statues are in good condition, giving you the chance to observe its intricate and minute details without difficulty. Over night at Hotel in  Hpa An.

 

Day 5

After Breakfast visit to Bayin Nyi Cave Located closer to Thaton than to Hpa-an, easily visited on your way to Yangon, this cave atop a hill, has a huge entrance hall filled to the brim with Buddha and other miscellaneous statues and inside the main cave sits a relatively new pagoda that adds a bit of modern ambiance. The path leading to the cave is slightly raised due to seasonal rains and the danger of water collection as pools (you get a chance to enjoy hot springs in the latter half of the rainy season). The cave does not get natural lighting even though it is said that some internal caves are lit by holes in the roof of the rock. And visit to Saddar Cave

Sadder Cave is 10 or 15 minutes journey through the cave to the other side, which exit into a lake and paddy field view. Thousands of miniature clay inside saddar cave.

Water lake monastery

Cross along footbridge to get to this Myanmar monastery, built in the middle of an artificial lake, from where there are good views of the surrounding countryside, obscured only by the birds and butterflies fluttering nearby. Stay overnight at Hotel in Hpa An

 

Day 6:            

Hpa An-Mt Kyaikhtiyo (By Car)

After morning breakfast, Check out to Hotel. Go to the Golden rock. Overland driving to Golden Rock (146km). Arrive at pilgrim-village is a starting point to the famous Golden Rock. From starting point take a truck and then enjoy the trekking to Golden Rock, it will take about 1 hour up the hill to enjoy the sunset at the Golden Rock. The famous ‘Golden Rock’ is a sacred, massive gold-leafed boulder delicately balanced on the edge of a cliff near the top of Mt. Kyaikhtiyo and it is one of the most revered Buddhist shrines. Overnight stay at the hotel in Kyaikhtiyo.

 

Day 7.                                                
Kyaikhtiyo – Bago – Yangon : (By Car) 

After breakfast taransfer go back to Yangon. On the way visit to Bago sightseeing, to the ancient city Bago which lies about 80 Km away from Yangon.Bago city sightseeing to the Shwemawdaw Pagoda, Shwethalyaung Image,Kyaik Pun PagodaBago market, a shopping center of Bagoetc: In the afternoon return back to Yangon. Arrive to Yangon Check-in to the hotel. After taking a rest, take your pleasure time Overnight stay at the hotel in Yangon

 

Day 8

Departure Yangon

After breakfast in Hotel transfer to Yangon international airport for your departure flight
